Okay, so I've been a slacker. It was Valentine's Day and then my birthday. These are the flowers some girlfriends gave to me yesterday morning. I was showered with little gifts all day long and felt so very loved. What a wonderful birthday it's been!

This is what you get when you really let the 4 year old tell you what they want for lunch. Mint-chocolate chip ice cream with pretzels and caramel sauce. It was delicious!

The mountains in my backyard. How lucky am I? I wish I had taken the photo first thing this morning. As the sun rose behind them, you could see the wind blowing the snow around on the top.

I thought it would be fun to help my daughter with her school Valentines. She wanted nothing to do with it though, and truth be told, I rather enjoyed doing them myself. These are the 'candy rings' I made for the girls. The note says A ring for your finger is oh so sweet, Even more so when it's a Valentine's treat!

That amarylis bulb I started this blog with has come into full bloom today. Beautiful! And it has 2 or 3 sister flowers coming up next.

Madeline with some of her 2nd grade classmates at Weber State University's Chinese New Year's celebration. Madeline's class performed several skits and songs. She was so nervous before we got there, but in the end, really enjoyed being on stage with her friends.

Our 'Iverson Family Schedule' posted on the 'fridge.
It includes meal plans, daily chores (for mom), exercise schedule (for mom and dad), and the activities that are scheduled for every week. I also put the daily schedule on the white board. This is really helpful to my 4 year old who does much better if he knows what is planned for the day.
